Tetrus is actively engaged in the communities we serve – as a client partner, technology and standards innovator and corporate sponsor. Our projects reflect our experience and expertise in the Public Safety, Homeland Security, Justice and Corrections communities of interest.
Client Partner
Tetrus approaches each client engagement as a partnership, working to achieve and maintain trust and respect by producing quality deliverables on time and within budget. We empower our clients by enabling continuous learning and knowledge management. By collaborating with each client to understand unique business drivers, we tailor solutions to help simplify decisions and maximize existing data assets. Tetrus is proud that many of our engagements represent repeat business with established clients.
Technology and Standards Innovator
Tetrus professionals are heavily involved in interoperability evolution. Tetrus developed and implemented a standards-based approach to enable law enforcement, district attorneys, courts and task forces to access offender information across multiple agencies with disparate systems using standards such as the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) and the Justice Reference Architecture (JRA), now know as Global Reference Architecture.
Tetrus is currently implementing the Nationwide Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) Initiative (NSI), a collaborative effort between local, state, tribal and federal law enforcement communities and intelligence agencies with the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Department of Justice as lead partners. NSI utilizes Counter-Terrorism Information Sharing Standards (CTISS) based on NIEM exchange models to share information regarding behaviors and incidents associated with crime and to establish a process to share information to detect and prevent criminal activity, including crimes associated with domestic and international terrorism.
Tetrus is a key contributor to the development of national standards, and is an active member of the Global Infrastructure and Standards Working Group, which developed JRA and is currently creating implementation tools and techniques to enable nationwide adoption.
Tetrus participates on a number of national associations and committees, including the Integrated Justice Information Sharing (IJIS) Institute N-DEx Subcommittee, the IJIS Institute Fusion Center Task Force, the Information Sharing Advisory Council (ISAC), the Public Safety/Transportation Committee, the Corrections Technology Association and the American Probation and Parole Association.
Corporate Sponsor
Tetrus is a proud sponsor of several notable industry associations, including the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies (ASCIA), the IJIS Institute, the National Narcotics Officers Association Coalition (NNOAC) and the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA).
